Sgt- Mg. Yona Betzalel Breif z"l
Staff Sergeant Yona Betzalel Brief, a combat medic in the elite Duvdevan unit, died at Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer in central Israel after a valiant effort to survive for 417 days.
His mother did not step foot in her home the entire time.
His friends held vigil in groups to entertain and be inspired by his positive spiritual attitude.
At his funeral they wept.
